My dog loves the lickimat! It keeps him busy for a while and helps keep him calm. Would love to get the smaller size for cleaning purposes, but to be honest the larger size works perfectly for him even though he's a small guy (only 18 pounds). Would 100% recommend!

My 11 years old male slowed his eating and love the licking of the kibble and peanut butter. Word of caution: my 4 yrs ols male when done put the mat bwt his front legs and started chewing the edge. I would never leave my dogs unsupervised w the mat.

The only size they had available was the large, and my dog is a small terrier who is almost 15 years old, and is deaf and going blind. He really enjoyed the lick mat but the size made it difficult for him to find his treat and really get a lot of benefit from it. I still do use it every day when I put his Greek Yogurt on it. Other than me getting the wrong size, it is really a wonderful product. I highly recommend it as my dog seems to enjoy the licking action so much.

My 3 dogs love these - I use yogurt or peanut butter. They enjoy licking and make sure they don’t leave a drop! Cleaning them is super easy and can be stored anywhere. I give these at bedtime and the licking relaxes them for a full nights sleep. So glad I purchased these - would highly recommend!

The concept is great, but the mat was way too big for my small dogs. I used creamy peanut butter, but at 100 calories per tablespoon there's no way I could utilize even 1/4 of the "small" mat for my nine pound dog. Also the mat is very difficult to clean if you use peanut butter on it. I wish it was dishwasher safe, as that might have helped. Overall I DO love the product but the small size is really quite big for a small dog. If you feed your dog canned food, it would be great. I recommend the product for all dog owners, but even if you have an 80 pound Rottweiler, buy the SMALL mat.

I purchased 5 Best Buddy mats for 5 rescued shelter dogs who were in boarding. Although one pup tore the mat to shreds ( in character, I'm afraid), the other 4 just loved the mats. The loving boarding kennel staff spread peanut butter (brands with no xylitol only) on them and gave them to the dogs as a treat once a day. The staff even figured out that if they put the peanut butter in the freezer first for a bit, the mats worked even better, giving the dogs an even longer time to enjoy their treat. [Happy to report that all 5 dogs have left, with 2 now adopted and 3 in long term foster). Thank you! Debra K.

My dog LOVES these licki mats. I freeze them so it takes her longer to finish them. She knows now even when I say the work licki mat and gets so excited. I have used yogurt and peanut butter, yogurt and pureed green beans, carrots, applesauce. Try to be creative and not add too many calories. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Our dog, Smuckers is a compulsive licker. She is always licking her paws or the sofa or us. She loves her lickimat! She also likes to chew, so she will nubble on the edges if we aren't paying attention. See we typically give it to her at night after dinner. Our 3 dogs absolutely LOVE the licker! We got it because our 14 year old Lizzie had got in the habit of licking everything, including all the dog beds! Now she enjoys the licker very much and even shares it with her new baby brother, Wally, (also a rescue). It doesn't take much peanut butter (about a teaspoonful) to make them happy. These mats have been so entertaining for our dogs. They are getting a little tired of us hanging around the house lately so anything to relieve that stress helps. They will lick on these for a long time. Right now Bailey, the beagle, has to eat a special wet diet due to some health issues and she is loving having it smeared on the mat. I purchased 3 of these Lickit mats! My 7 month old lab loves it! I have one in the freezer, one on the glass door (being used) and one in the dishwasher! I filled them with Peanut Butter and froze them. He absolutely cleaned it all. And he didn’t pull it off the glass door (I was concerned about him being able to do that).
